From tennis socials and junior programs to live music, trivia, Tasty Tuesdays and one last weekend at the pool, there are plenty of reasons to spend time at the Club this month. Oakwood Country Club is hosting several entry-level, one-day USTA Junior Tennis events designed to offer a fun, low-pressure match-play experience. These events are ideal for players looking to challenge their skills or prepare for middle and high school competition. A free USTA Junior Membership is required.

OCC-Liberty University Women’s Tennis Play-In!
Friday September 25, 2026 at the Oakwood Tennis Courts! Come join in the fun play with the LU Women’s Team, led by Coach Dash Connell. Our tennis members may join in by signing up on Court Reserve, or email teresab@oakwoodcc.com. There will be at least one LU Player or Coach on each court for “match play”--or, just reserve a table on the patio and enjoy the tennis and sunset!

USTA Combo Leagues

Friday Night Exhibition Play
Wind down the week on the Oakwood Patio, enjoy your Happy Hour time at Oakwood with your friends and watch some of our local players, teaching staff, and some out of town guests show their match skills on courts 1-2-3! Currently scheduled for September 4, 11, 18 starting 6pm-8pm–players tbd, and weather permitting!

As we wrap up our first season at the pool, we want to thank all of our members for making this year such a great one! We’ve enjoyed getting to know the community and are grateful for the opportunity to serve you. Providing a great experience and better service to our members is always a priority, and we hope this season made a difference for your family.

The pool will officially close for the season after Labor Day.
